Terms and Conditions

What are the departing and return times?

Bruny Island: 7:30am-6pm

Beyond the Cellar Door: 10am-4pm

Times may vary due peak tourism periods, traffic and limited ferry capacity (Bruny Island only). We will notify you of exact pickup times in the days leading up to the tour once all bookings are in.

If you have to be anywhere such dinner reservations, flights out of state etc. please inform us when making a booking or as soon as any changes are made.

How do we get there?

We will pick you up from, and return you to your accommodation in and around Hobart. Or, more likely you’ll be itching to check out one of Hobart’s recommended fine watering holes.

What will I need to bring?

For Bruny: Comfortable clothes. Shoes appropriate for short walks. Swimwear. Rainproof jacket. Water.

Wine Tour: Shoes that can handle a walk through the vines. Warm clothes.

We’ll keep you up to date with any troublesome weather in the lead up to your tour.

What is included?

Everything. All meals. All entries. All beverages, alcoholic and otherwise. Even your coffees.

The only time you will need your credit card is if you wish to stop to pick up a souvenir, some wine to take home, some roadside cherries or if you just decide to stay in Tassie forever.

Is it a large bus?

No, we only run tours with a minimum of four and up to eleven passengers. The van is modern, tidy, air-conditioned and very well maintained.

Eat the Wild has gone to every length to meet all regulatory and legal requirements, including Parks and Wildlife commercial licences, Passenger Vehicle Accreditation, up to date workplace First Aid training, a Special Liquor Permit, along with the council approvals for Food Business Registration.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Josh, your chef, has a thorough understanding and respect for modern dietary requirements. However, operating out of a small space does restrict what we can cater for, especially as your safety is paramount. If unsure, please get in touch, we would love to have you and will do our best to get you on board.

Can you accommodate group bookings?

If your group numbers are more than the seats remaining on a tour, please get in touch and we’ll see if we can organise another date.
