Welcome to Eat the Wild's Coal River Oyster Shed - Long Lunch! Join me on an indulgent journey, unlike any other oyster farm tour in Tasmania (or abroad!) that you've been on before. We'll start the day by picking you up from your Hobart accommodation at a leisurely 11 am, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the famous Salamanca markets before we head off to the venue. Once we arrive, we'll be greeted by the owner of one of the best oyster farms in Tasmania who will show us how to shuck oysters and give us an insight into the oyster industry.

Our venue is an old oyster processing shed on the waterfront, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You'll relax with premium wine, whisky, or gin in hand while enjoying a long lunch featuring only the freshest Tasmanian seafood cooked over an open fire.
